Neon Signal — Q4 Update: Studio Build, a New Track, and Something New in October
Garage-to-studio conversion, a Tru Evl update, and a Discord launching September 30.
Hey there — it’s been a minute since the last update. Here’s what’s actually happened at Technically Creative, not the highlight-reel version.
Gear Rundown
The garage is turning into a studio. Wiring’s done, power’s in, AV gear is staged — target is functional by the end of October. First thing coming out of it: a Gear Rundown series, where local musicians and bands walk through their rig and use it to promote their own upcoming shows. Know a band that’d want in? Reply and let me know.
Tru Evl
The next RVXX release, Tru Evl, is in active production. Re-recording guitar and drum parts on the Quad Cortex Mini with reworked rhythms — about a quarter of the way through tracking. Thematically, it’s a critique of leadership failure, not the people following bad leadership.
Discord Teaser
A Discord community launches September 30. This is the place for the stuff that doesn’t fit in a monthly email: process breakdowns, work-in-progress audio, automation experiments, and direct access if you’ve got questions about production, project management, or workflow builds. Holding the doors a couple more weeks to finish testing and load in some updates first. Invite lands in the next issue.
Fractional PM/ClickUp consulting, music production and sound design, or workflow automation with n8n — there’s room on the calendar for Q4. If you’ve got a project that needs someone who treats creative work with the same rigor as a process audit, hit reply and let’s talk.
Talk soon, Kenny
